Privacy policy
1. Privacy at a glance
General information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy set out below this text.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website
operator. Their contact details can be found in the section "Notice
concerning the responsible party" in this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to us —
e.g. by email, phone, or via our appointment-request form. Other
data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the
website (mainly technical data such as browser, operating system, or
time of the page visit). This website does not use a comment
function or user accounts.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive, free of charge,
information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored
personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or
deletion of this data. Furthermore, you have the right, under
certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing
of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint
with the competent supervisory authority. For this and any further
questions on data protection, you are welcome to contact us at any
time.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hosting provider's servers. This may primarily include IP addresses, meta and communication data, and website access data.
This website is a static site with no backend of its own and is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, the host automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, time of the server request, and IP address. We do not merge this data with data from other sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of their website. Cloudflare may also process data in the USA; this transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details can be found in Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
3. General information and mandatory notices
Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Notice concerning the responsible party
The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
Fachpraxis Logopädie
Annabelle Wonsikowski
Boschstraße 16
47533 Kleve
Phone: 02821 78699-33
Email: info@fachpraxis-logopaedie.de
The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (such as names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law).
No tracking, no analytics cookies
This website does not use any analytics tools and does not itself set cookies for user tracking. Only your consent to the cookie notice is stored locally in your browser (local storage, not a cookie) so that the notice does not reappear on repeat visits. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties.
Google Maps
On the "Locations" page, we embed map excerpts from the Google Maps service to show you the location of our practices. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you visit the page, your browser establishes a connection to Google's servers; in doing so, your IP address, among other things, is transmitted to Google, which may also involve processing outside the EU (including in the USA). This use serves the interest of a clear and easily findable presentation of our locations, based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Enquiries by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry, including any resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided your enquiry relates to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Appointment-request form
On the "Appointment" page, we offer a form through which you can submit an appointment request to us. In doing so, we collect the following information: preferred practice, preferred appointment period, name of the patient, name of the parent/guardian (if applicable), age group of the patient, diagnosis or reason for the appointment, phone number and email address, preferred method and language of contact, optional comments, and whether a doctor's prescription is available.
The diagnosis/reason-for-appointment field may allow conclusions to be drawn about your health or that of your child, and therefore constitutes a special category of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR. We process this information solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR), which you give by mandatorily ticking the corresponding consent box in the form. We process the remaining data collected in the form to handle your appointment request and thus to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example informally by email or phone using the contact details above.
Your form entries are transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) to a server-side function of our host, Cloudflare, and forwarded from there to us by email. We use the Resend service (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) to send emails. In doing so, the data you provide in the form is transmitted to Resend and processed there solely for the purpose of delivery. A transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details can be found in Resend's privacy policy: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Your data from the appointment-request form will be deleted once your request has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. as part of resulting treatment documentation) require otherwise.
