Short screening — initial speech-therapy assessment
Language development disorders are recognised far too late in many children. Our short screening helps parents and facilities assess early on whether a child's language development is on track for their age.
What does the short screening involve?
In a short, playful session, we form an initial impression of your child's language level. Afterwards, you receive the result of the assessment as well as — if needed — a written recommendation for next steps.
Good to know
The short screening is not speech-therapy diagnostics or treatment and is not covered by health insurers — the cost is paid privately. It serves solely as an initial indicator of whether a more thorough speech-therapy assessment makes sense, and can be shown to your doctor if needed.
